Congratulations to the winning and commended entries in the inaugural iTSHOWCASE Construction IT Awards 2006!

At a live (and glittering!) champagne reception held on the iTSHOWCASELIVE stand at the heart of the iTSHOWCASENEWS, proudly announced the winners of the inaugural iTSHOWCASE IT Awards 2006.

The fabulously stylish glass trophies were awarded in six catagories to the customer and IT vendor partnership that was judged to have delivered an IT strategy and implementation that produced the most tangible business benefits.

There to present the awards were Steve Jones, Managing Director of iTSHOWCASE’ parent company, Framework Media; professor Farzard Khosrowshahi of Construct IT For Business (Faz to his friends!) and Karl Williams of IT Construction Forum & Constructing Excellence. Alongside iTSHOWCASENEWS editor Alison Jones, representatives from both these organizations facilitated the judging of the awards overall.

HBXL and their customers were commended for the following categories:

CATEGORY 1 - Most Successful IT Return on Investment

Winner: Redsky IT & The Knight Group

Commended: HBXL & Betta Builda Company

CATEGORY 5 - Best Tender Management

Winner: Conquest & HBG Construction

Commended: HBXL & Diamond Property Renovations Ltd.

Alison Jones said of the ceremony: “It was fantastic that so many vendors and their customers attended the awards presentation. It was an honour to judge and reward such high quality entries. I look forward to featuring them further in the summer issue of iTSHOWCASENEWS.”
