Getting Started with ContractsXpert
Do you have your own
building contracts that you have written yourself so be wondering why
you need software to do it for you? Or maybe you might not be putting
contracts in place at the moment at all! You might also be worried
about relying on building contract software to protect your business
interests.
ContractsXpert has been developed by the Federation of Master Builders
in conjunction with HBXL – so everything you need to know is built in –
all the contract documents you need with all the correct legal
terminology.
Rest assured that ContractsXpert® produces fail safe legal contracts
that are Crystal Mark approved and also have been reviewed by Trading
Standards as fair to both builder and consumer. Be aware that with your
own in-house authored building contracts it is unlikely you will be
protected in court
Fast Track Tips
We’ll be honest. ContractsXpert® is so easy it doesn’t need a User Guide.
All you need to do is:

Open the onscreen wizard

Follow it to choose your building contract and enter your job details into the relevant fields

Publish your contract as a PDF
-
Print!
The building contracts are pre-defined legal documents so you can’t edit them – and can’t go wrong! It’s the project details that you enter that tailor the building contract to your specific job. There’s context sensitive (i) next to each field too if you are unsure of what to enter.
