Getting Started with PlansXpress
You might be worried about drafting plans yourself as it’s a creative process, however rest assured you can do it! As a builder or developer, you’ve already worked with lots of plans throughout your career so you understand how things are built – PlansXpress® simply places the drawing tools in your hands to put that down on paper.
You may also think that taking on new software involves a big learning curve. But it doesn’t need to be the case - especially when you choose software that has been specifically designed for the building industry and with you in mind.
User Guide
PlansXpress® is much, much easier than other CAD packages which have not been designed for builders, but to obtain maximum benefit from your software, we recommend all new users work through the Tutorial in our User Guide.
The Tutorial takes you through drafting plans for a complete new build followed by a loft conversion. Following it end to end will take a couple of evenings or a quiet day but by the end you should have a good grasp of the software.
